On the back of the M1A Controller there are two female DB-25 Serial ports identified with a DEVICE 0 and DEVICE 1 label.
Device 0 is used to communicate RAPL (Robot Advanced Program Language) commands from the terminal to the robot
controller that will be immediately executed by the Robot.
Commands such as HOME, READY, MANUAL etc. are transmitted
to the controller through this port.
Device 1 is used to upload and download programs and Robot Locations to and from
the Controller and Terminal using the ROBCOMM  software.
